We recently enjoyed a fun filled day with Sylvie in France. We were a party of 8 people coming in for one day only from a cruise ship. From the minute I contacted Sylvie she was very accomodating! She helped me to decide the best day possible with all of my interests included! We went to Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Monte Carlo/Monaco! This was a busy packed day but we were able to see everything we wanted to and more! We even stopped for an hour in Nice for an amazing lunch! Sylvie's passion for her country and her wealth of knowledge combined with her fantastic kind personality made our day! It was truly a memorable experience and I highly recommend Sylvie for anything you wish to do on your vacation. She will cater to your interests and add her wonderful suggestions as well to complete a perfect adventure that you will never forget. We will be contacting Sylvie in the future and using her again! Thanks for everything Sylvie!!!!!!! _Lisa from Toronto, Canada

We can describe our trip or should I say trips with Sylvie in several words; unbelievable, fantastic, mesmerizing, a pure pleasure for three full days in August of 2010. Three days with her and we wished we could have had more. We toured the best of Cannes, the highlights of Nice and surroundings and finally Monte Carlo and its' beauty and all the area has to offer. We have traveled extensively throughout Europe, always using private guides and Sylvie is not rivaled in any of our travels. As a travel agent, I am always looking for the 'best' for my clients. I have certainly found the 'ultimate' guide in Sylvie and will be promoting her 'hospitality' and services to all who travel to France.

PS We're also waiting for her to visit us in the US so we can show her the sights in New England

During my first visit to France and Cote 'd Azur, in April 2010, I had the pleasure of touring with Sylvie Di Cristo. Sylvie greeted me from my long transatlantic flight and made me feel very welcome and at home. We toured Nice including the day market and historical highlights of Old Towne. I gained a great perspective of how people’s lifestyles adapted through the centuries with Sylvie’s extensive knowledge of the area and history.

When the weather turned uncharacteristically cool and rainy, Sylvie continued the tour to ensure I saw the best of the area. I was mesmerized by Eze with its castle, views of the coast and best crapes in Riviera.

When I became stuck in France due to the historic volcanic cloud Sylvie was available and was a tremendous help to myself with no French language skills to navigate and negotiate in an emergency situation.

I could not have survived without her and would highly recommend her for your trip to France.

My family and I took a tour with Sylvie on June 2008. Little did we know that a fantastic tour awaited us. We started off in Cannes, then followed to Nice, Eze and Monaco. We loved France and thought it was beautiful. However, one of the best parts of our trip was Sylvie. She was kind, thoughtful, and well-informed. We could not have asked for a better tour guide, and we highly recommend her for anyone!

I really enjoyed Sylvie on our recent tour of Cannes. She was knowledgable and fun and obviously enjoyed taking our group of four to both the well-known tourist sites and the hidden gems tucked away on the little streets in the older part of town.

She also helped me with my French. Before the trip, I spent a lot of time practicing my rusty French so when I arrived in Cannes I was anxious to give it a whirl. Although it might have been hard on her ears, Sylvie was all smiles and never told me so.

On my next trip to France I will be sure to call Sylvie. After all, she told me that I now have ''a cousin in the South of France.''

It is without hesitation that I recommend Sylvie. Our group of four has utilized the services of Sylvie on three separate occasions (twice in Nice and once in Paris)over the last several years. She is knowledgable, courteous and most of all adaptable. We tend to change plans on the spur of the moment and Sylvie has always been able to adapt and been most accommodating. If you are looking for a guide in Southern France or Paris, please contact Sylvie.

We just got back from a fabulous trip to Europe and one of the highlights was spending the day with Sylvie. She was extremely good at getting back to me about details of the trip, and so knowledgeable. Our day started with a pick up in Monte Carlo after getting off our ship and from there she took us to Nice, Saint Paul de Vence and Eze. What we loved about Sylvie was how flexible she was and how personal she made the experience. She knew so much about the area and we were impressed by her knowledge of art history and these amazing little out of the way jewels she took us to. Some tour guides tend to overwhelm you with information, she had just the right amount of facts and good stories. She was delightful and I'd highly recommend her.

We have traveled extensively around Europe and used many guides. Sylvie was by far the BEST guide we have ever engaged. Not only was she informative about the places we went, she also lent a personal and friendly touch. We left the planning to her and she hit all the right spots making our time in the South of France the most memorable part of our trip. She was easily accessible beforehand for all of our questions and made sure to take me to Lauduree once she knew I was a French Macaron fan. We were excited to learn she also does week long tours in Paris. Next time we return to France, we know we will have a ''cousin'' there!

Sylvie is truly FABULOUS! Fortunately, I booked her well in advance for a glorious French Riviera tour during a June 2009 Med cruise. My husband and I (and our four friends who joined us) travel extensively and have high expectations. We all agreed Sylvie was outstanding. She was great about emailing me to discuss the venues we wanted: Nice, Eze, a non-touristy elegant perfume showroom, Monte Carlo. Without over-loading the itinerary, she fit many highlights into 8 stress-free/relaxing hours, including a delightful lunch at a bistro favored by locals. She shared fascinating anecdotes and insider info and gave us numerable breath-taking photo ops. Her vehicle is immaculate and roomy, and she’s a superb driver. Sylvie is highly knowledgeable, genuinely charming, generously thoughtful, totally flexible, loads of fun--and absolutely first-rate. We feel we now have a dear friend on the Cote d’Azur, where we’re planning another visit with Sylvie. Merci, ma chere Sylvie!

In July 2009 I took a one day tour of Nice and the surrounding area with Sylvie DiCristo. She is a marvelous guide: well informed, very cheerful and most helpful. My friend ripped her dress and Sylvie went home and got sewing materials and returned and fixed my friend's dress. Can't ask for more concern than that. The Tour itself was full of new surprises. I had been there many times before and I was still delighted with the day. Sylvie is very flexible and I am sure anyone wanting to take a day in the south of France would love to have such an escort. I arranged a tour with Sylvie after reading many fabulous reviews on a cruise ship message board site. I am so glad I did! There were 6 adults and completely left our journey in her hands as to what we should see and do on our day visit to the south of France. Not only is Sylvie knowledgeable on her beautiful country, but she's very personable and you consider her a friend after your day of touring with her. I have recommended her to others and I will certainly call on her to escort me around the next time I visit France.

We hired Sylvie while on a cruise of the Mediterranean in 2007. What a surprise we got - as she is absolutely the best of the best. She was fun, witty, and let us determine our own agenda. She worked extremely hard to make sure that we got in as much touring as possible during the one day we were there. When we return, she would be the only guide that I would consider.

My husband I had met Sylvie 20 years ago as a tour guide in Monaco. She was a delightful guide who we contacted recently when we returned to France. We highly recommend Sylvie as your next guide. She will provide interesting information on sites visited, be flexible as to your schedule, and keep you smiling all the way!

My family and I (seven of us) were lucky to have had Sylvie for our driver-guide when we visited France while doing a Mediterranean cruise. Sylvie gave us information and entertained us throughout the day. There are four teenagers in our group, and Sylvie held the attention of all of us. She is intelligent, humerous, and interesting. Merci!

I don't know how to describe Sylvie other than ''FANTASTIC''. Our tour with her was the highlight of our 14 day cruise. We saw so many sights and had a wonderful lunch in a cave. My wife is slightly disabled and Sylvie took extra time with her to insure she saw everything she wanted.

I would highly recommend Sylvie.
